Summer is officially here. And who doesn’t love grilling on a Sunday afternoon? With as much thought as we put into our main course, making sure it’s organic or locally grown, we rarely stop to think about our condiments. We don’t think twice about using that ketchup that has been sitting in your fridge for a couple of months, and is full of sugar and conservatives. So here are a few of my favorite paleo condiment recipes, just in time for 4th of July.
This tastes great on a juicy turkey burger. I personally like to throw in some herbs or a handful of arugula into the blender and make a delicious green mayo. Or combine it with some delicious sun-dried tomatoes for that extra touch.
Ketchup is usually full of sugar, but the ground dates make me feel better about using this sweet sauce.
Regular Mustard is as easy as combining mustard powder and water. This is a bit more involved, but I love the texture and flavor!
