August's prints are amazing! The urban look and the fit has quickly made this collection an all time favorite.
In August, Fabletics put out one of my all time favorite collections, Take it to the Streets. Between the bold fabrics, with amazing prints by the graffiti artist Stash, and the relaxed fit, I craved every single one of the outfits!
The Rivington is made up of the Salar Crop, the Cope Bra and the Tennyson Pullover. The introduction on the Fabletics website says:
Bring street vibes to the studio in this stylish workout number. We topped off our exclusive print bottoms by grafitti artist, Stash, with a performance bra. Throw on the Tennyson pullover to refresh your look after class.
Let’s start with the bra. It offers medium support, and it looks amazing! The criss cross straps don’t really squeeze my back fat, and they look very cute under the top or by themselves. They have this little chevron detail up front that makes this simple, black bra super attractive. The top is made of a hoodie material, and the construction is very similar to it as well. It has a boxy profile, but that is super in right now. I like that I can throw it over anything and it looks casual yet cute enough to go grab a bite after a workout.
This outfit added yet another pair of Salar Crops to my growing collection, since I can’t seem to help myself. The print is wickedly cool, but since the base fabric is white, the print becomes a little see-through and looks faded when over my thick thighs. I can get over that in no time, though, since they make my booty look amazing and keep my muffin top in check with the sturdy yet soft construction.
Take your workout look to the fast lane in our wavy print Salar Capri. Slow down for a more moderate workout by adding the Aventura Tank. Its dropped armholes and curved hem keep the movement flowing.
This is a basic outfit, just a tank and my favorite pants, the Salar. But I absolutely love the print and I can’t seem to take it off. Just like the Rivington pants, the print is a bit see through because of the white fabric base, but it still looks pretty cool.
Edit: After wearing these for a little while, they started pilling pretty badly, especially around the thighs and knees, so, off to the donation bin they went. And, since Fabletics does not restock their past styles, I was a very sad girl.
Oh, man! Fabletics keep on topping themselves. I love this collection and I can’t seem to take the outfits off. The prints are so forgiving on my bigger thighs, and little dimples and imperfections are well hidden. :)
